Cioppino Dinner for MendoParks | Little River Inn
Thanks to a generous gift from Mendocino Coast Clinics, the founders of the event, MendoParks will be hosting this year's Cioppino Feed, as this year's Cioppino Feed was a benefit for MendoParks! This event was a fun-filled all-you-can-eat Cioppino Feed, served family-style at large communal tables. The giant Cioppino pot brimmed with seafood, shellfish, and local Dungeness crab all served family-style with bakery bread for dipping, tossed salad, ice cream, coffee, bibs, and plenty of napkins! It was an evening of laughs, crab accouterments, and good food.
This fanastic event was hosted by The Little River Inn and was a benefit for MendoParks.
The Little River Inn has been a hallmark of the Mendocino Coast for more than 80 years. Sixth generation owned, the same family has been welcoming guests to experience the beauty of the Mendocino Coast from the coziest rooms. The original house was built in 1853 by Silas Coombs and has remained in the same family ever since it was turned into an inn in 1939. If you’re thinking of visiting Mendocino, then definitely check out their rooms for your stay.
As for the host, MendoParks, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is entirely self-sustaining and receives no government funding or tax dollars for operations. MendoParks currently supports 10 State Parks in Mendocino County with educational activities, park improvements, and operations of Visitor Centers.
All of these parks are fantastic for short or long walks. There are some beautiful vistas, especially at sunset!
